The platform supports SD and HD playout with automatic up/down conversion and handles all major file formats and codecs natively, eliminating conversion overhead. A built-in metadata database stores clip attributes including in-points, out-points, descriptions, and notes, with search and sort functionality by ID, description, duration, and file type. Hot folder monitoring automatically detects and registers incoming media assets into the database, while an integrated file integrity check validates each asset upon ingest. A trimming and segmenting tool provides clip-level editing directly within the platform, and per-clip audio levels are stored and automatically applied at the start of playout for consistent loudness management.
Playlist control includes time-based event scheduling, stop and loop commands, and automatic as-run log generation. A dual-channel live input application is included for real-time source integration. The built-in CG engine, paired with a dedicated offline graphics layout editor, supports a full suite of overlay elements including crawls, tickers, animated videos with alpha channel, clocks, timers, and effects such as movement, blur, and drop shadow.
